After graduating from Kenneth E. Hagin’s RHEMA Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1980, God began dealing with Rev. and Mrs. Edwin Anderson about moving to the High Springs area. They were to start a church that would meet the needs of people who were longing to know how to live a truly victorious life, based solidly upon the authority of God’s Word. It was to be a regional church, reaching out to surrounding communities and to people of many different backgrounds.

That summer, after conducting Bible studies and church services near Fort White, Pastor Anderson, his wife Angela and two sons, moved to High Springs and founded Faith Christian Fellowship. By December 1980, services were being held in the New Century Women’s Club in High Springs. God’s blessings have been evident in every phase of the church’s growth. In 1981, the young congregation purchased the historic, former First Baptist Church facility. Since that time, many new members and ministries have been added as the church has continued to grow.

In 2000, the congregation broke ground on their new facility on US 441 between High Springs and Alachua. Just before the new facility was completed in 2002, and to reflect the growing congregation’s vision, the church name was changed to Impact Family Church. In 2003, Rev. Greg Anderson joined the church staff as Youth Pastor, later becoming Associate Pastor in 2005. In 2008, Rev. Steve Morgan joined the church staff as Music Minister.

The vision God gave Pastor Anderson has become a reality. Today, with ministries for all ages, from children to youth and singles to seniors, Impact Family Church is equipped to minister to your spiritual needs and to those of your entire family. The church’s motto is “Change Your World®”- that is, stop complaining about what’s going wrong in your life and do something about it. Take the Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit and change your world!

Pastor Anderson and the entire congregation of IFC welcome you. Our heart’s desire is to see you live as an overcomer through the power of God.
