In 1986, during a time of prayer and fasting, the Lord spoke very clearly to Pastor Anderson from the 26th chapter of the Book of Acts, verses 16 through 18, re-affirming and strengthening the vision of his heart. As these verses of scripture burned into his consciousness, he realized that God was not only speaking to him personally, but that He was revealing His plan and purpose for the local church body as well.
Acts 26:16-18 “But rise and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of the things which you have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you… to open (men’s) eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me."
Acts 26:16-18 is the call of God upon Impact Family Church. All ministry – every program and activity of the church is directed toward fulfilling this purpose.

Based on Acts 26:16-18 the mission of Impact Family Church is to:
* Be a witness of the great Biblical truths of salvation, redemption, righteousness, faith, love, healing, prosperity, and the present-day ministry of the Holy Spirit.
* Open the eyes of the spiritually blind, to turn them away from the darkness and emptiness of this world and its philosophies, and from the weakness of religious tradition to the light of God’s Word.
* Show the way of freedom from Satan’s power and of access through Christ to God’s fullness.
* Bring the Good News of reconciliation with God – of the restoration to favor with God through the remission of sins, by the blood of Christ.
* Throw open the doors to the treasure-house of God’s blessings by preaching the unsearchable riches of Christ.
* Unveil to the believer the riches of his inheritance in Christ – his covenant rights and privileges as a child of God.

We Believe...
THE SCRIPTURES - The Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God. In these Testaments we find the complete revelation of God's will for the salvation of men, and the Divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life (II Tim. 3:16; I Thess. 2:13; II Peter 1:21).
THE GODHEAD - In One God, Creator of all things, Who is infinitely perfect and eternally existent in three Persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Deut. 6:4; John 1:1-3, 14; Phil. 2:6; Acts 5:3-4).
JESUS CHRIST - Jesus Christ is true God and true man (John 1:1-3,14; I Tim. 2:5). He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary (Luke 1:35). He died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins. Further, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven and is now at the right hand of the Father as our High Priest and Advocate (I Cor. 15:3-4; Acts 1:9; Heb. 8:1; I John 2:1).
THE FALL OF MAN AND REDEMPTION - Man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is therefore lost (Rom. 5:12; 3:23). Only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained (Titus 3:5). The shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only grounds for justification and salvation (I Peter 1:18-19; Rom. 4:25).
WATER BAPTISM AND THE LORD'S SUPPER - Water baptism and the Lord's Supper are ordinances to be observed by the Church during the present age. However, they are not to be regarded as means of salvation (Matt. 28:19; I Cor. 11:23-26).
THE HOLY SPIRIT - The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ. During this age, He indwells, guides, instructs and empowers the believer for godly living and service. Every believer should be filled with the Holy Spirit with speaking in tongues as the initial physical evidence (John 16:13-14; I Cor. 6:19; Acts 1:8; 2:4).
PRAYER - Every born again, Spirit-filled believer should maintain a consistent prayer life. This should be true both in praying with the understanding and in praying in the Spirit (I Thess. 5:16-18; I Cor. 14:15; Eph. 6:18).
FAITH, HEALING AND PROSPERITY- Without faith it is impossible to please God (Heb. 11:6). The redemptive work of Christ provides not only salvation for the believer, but healing and prosperity as well (Isa. 53:4-6; Matt. 8:16-17). We are redeemed from the curse of the law which is poverty, sickness and spiritual death (Gal. 3:13). Our lives will be prosperous and healthy if we will walk in the light of this redemption with faith in God's Word (III John 2).
THE CHURCH - The true Church is composed of all those who are born again. Through this new birth we are united together in the body of Christ. Jesus Christ is the Lord and Head of the Church (I Cor. 12:12-13, 27; Eph. 1:22-23). Every local church has the right under Christ to decide and govern its own affairs (I Cor. 12:28).
THE RETURN OF THE LORD - In the personal, premillenial and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ (I Cor. 15:51-52; I Thess. 4:15-18). This "Blessed Hope" has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believer (Titus 2:11-14).
THE RESURRECTION AND ETERNAL STATE - In the bodily resurrection of the dead, of the believer to everlasting joy with the Lord and the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment (Rev. 20:4-6, 11-15).
