OUR VISION
Acts 26:16-19 (NKJV) But rise and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of the things which you have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you. I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you, to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’
LEAD PASTORS
Pastors Greg and Amy Anderson serve as Lead Pastors at Impact Family Church. Both graduated from RHEMA Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 2000. Upon graduation, they moved to Jacksonville, Florida where they helped plant a church. In 2003, they joined the staff of Impact Family Church as Youth Pastors and became Associate Pastors in 2006. They served faithfully in these roles until 2023 when they became Lead Pastors.
Pastor Greg was raised in High Springs, FL and graduated from Santa Fe High School in 1992 and Santa Fe College in 1994. Pastor Amy was raised in Pittsburgh, PA., and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1994. They were married in 1996 and have three children (Jack, Nate, and Mia).
Pastors Greg and Amy have a passionate desire to see people of all ages develop an intimate relationship with God, grow in the knowledge of Him, and develop strong faith. This will allow them to experience God’s best in every area of their lives, impact their generation, and live fruitful lives that are well pleasing to the Lord.
FOUNDING PASTORS
Revs. Edwin and Angela Anderson are native Floridians, having been born and raised in Jacksonville and Newberry. They were married in 1970 and have two sons, four grandsons and one granddaughter. Pastor Edwin graduated from RHEMA Bible Training Center in 1980 and was ordained by the late Rev. Kenneth E. Hagin in 1985. Pastor Angela was ordained in 2001. In 1980 they founded Faith Christian Fellowship in High Springs, which later became Impact Family Church. Together they served as District Directors of RHEMA Ministerial Association International, the licensing and ordaining arm of Kenneth Hagin Ministries, from 1989 to 1994, and as Regional Directors from 1994 to 2004.
A gifted teacher, Pastor Anderson expounds the Word of God with refreshing clarity and depth, and is known for his balanced approach to the Scriptures. His passion to equip believers to reach their full potential in Christ has resulted in producing a strong local church body with a bold witness for the Lord. The gifts of the Holy Spirit are in frequent manifestation as Pastor Anderson ministers by the anointing.
MUSIC MINISTER
Rev. Steve Morgan became the Music Minister of Impact Family Church in 2007. His heart is to lead others into the presence of God with modern, powerful praise and worship, thereby setting the stage for the Word of God to be ministered.
Steve and his wife, Rachel, are 2004 graduates of RHEMA Bible Training Center. Steve was raised in High Springs and graduated from Santa Fe High School in 1999. Rachel was raised in Lake City and graduated from Columbia High School in 1998. They live in High Springs with their two children.
CHURCH HISTORY
After graduating from Kenneth E. Hagin’s RHEMA Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1980, God began dealing with Founding Pastors Edwin and Angela Anderson about moving to the High Springs area. They were to start a church that would meet the needs of people who were longing to know how to live a truly victorious life, based solidly upon the authority of God’s Word. This INTER-DENOMINATIONAL, SPIRIT-FILLED, FAMILY CHURCH was also to be a REGIONAL CHURCH, reaching out to surrounding communities and to people of many backgrounds.
That summer, after conducting Bible studies and church service near Fort White, Pastors Edwin and Angela Anderson, and two sons (Steven and Greg) moved to High Springs and founded Faith Christian Fellowship. By December 1980, services were being held in the New Century Women’s Club building in High Springs.
In 1981 the young congregation purchased the former High Springs First Baptist Church facility. Since that time, the Lord has added many wonderful believers to the church, resulting in a sustained, steady growth and the need to build a new, bigger facility. The end of 2002, saw this accomplished with a new facility conveniently located for the surrounding communities. To reflect the vision and direction of the growing congregation, the church changed its name to Impact Family Church.
In 2023, IFC saw changes in leadership roles. Pastors Greg and Amy Anderson assumed the role of Lead Pastors.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
We Believe…
THE SCRIPTURES – The Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God. In these Testaments we find the complete revelation of God’s will for the salvation of men, and the Divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life (II Tim. 3:16; I Thess. 2:13; II Peter 1:21).
We Believe…
THE GODHEAD – In One God, Creator of all things, Who is infinitely perfect and eternally existent in three Persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Deut. 6:4; John 1:1-3, 14; Phil. 2:6; Acts 5:3-4).
We Believe…
JESUS CHRIST – Jesus Christ is true God and true man (John 1:1-3,14; I Tim. 2:5). He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary (Luke 1:35). He died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins. Further, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven and is now at the right hand of the Father as our High Priest and Advocate (I Cor. 15:3-4; Acts 1:9; Heb. 8:1; I John 2:1).
We Believe…
THE HOLY SPIRIT – The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ. During this age, He indwells, guides, instructs and empowers the believer for godly living and service. Every believer should be filled with the Holy Spirit with speaking in tongues as the initial physical evidence (John 16:13-14; I Cor. 6:19; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:4).
We Believe…
THE FALL OF MAN AND REDEMPTION – Man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is therefore lost (Rom. 5:12; 3:23). Only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained (Titus 3:5). The shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only grounds for justification and salvation (I Peter 1:18-19; Rom. 4:25).
We Believe…
THE CHURCH – The true Church is composed of all those who are born again. Through this new birth we are united together in the body of Christ. Jesus Christ is the Lord and Head of the Church (I Cor. 12:12-13, 27; Eph. 1:22-23). Every local church has the right under Christ to decide and govern its own affairs (I Cor. 12:28).
We Believe…
WATER BAPTISM AND THE LORD’S SUPPER – Water baptism and the Lord’s Supper are ordinances to be observed by the Church during the present age. However, they are not to be regarded as means of salvation (Matt. 28:19; I Cor. 11:23-26).
We Believe…
PRAYER – Every born again, Spirit-filled believer should maintain a consistent prayer life. This should be true both in praying with the understanding and in praying in the Spirit (I Thess. 5:16-18; I Cor. 14:15; Eph. 6:18). Impact Family Church
We Believe…
FAITH, HEALING AND PROSPERITY – Without faith it is impossible to please God (Heb. 11:6). The redemptive work of Christ not only provides salvation for the believer but healing and prosperity as well (Isa. 53:4-6; Matt. 8:16-17). We are redeemed from the curse of the law which is poverty, sickness and spiritual death (Gal. 3:13). Our lives will be prosperous and healthy if we will walk in the light of this redemption with faith in God’s Word (III John 2).
We Believe…
MARRIAGE AND SEXUALITY – The Bible recognizes marriage as exclusively the legal union of one man and one woman. (Titus 1:6) Therefore, the Church will not recognize, perform, or condone any marriage between individuals of the same gender or between more than one man and one woman. The Bible also teaches that legitimate sexual relations are exercised solely within marriage. Sexual activities, such as, but not limited to, adultery, fornication, incest, homosexuality, pedophilia, bestiality, and/or efforts to alter one’s gender violate the teachings of the Bible and the Church and are sinful and incompatible with Christian behavior. (I Corinthians 6:9-10; Leviticus 18:22; Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:26-27)
We Believe…
THE RETURN OF THE LORD – In the personal, premillennial and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ (I Cor. 15:51-52; I Thess. 4:15-18). This “Blessed Hope” has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believer (Titus 2:11-14).
We Believe…
THE RESURRECTION AND ETERNAL STATE – In the bodily resurrection of the dead, of the believer to everlasting joy with the Lord and the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment (Rev. 20:4-6, 11-15).
