Bring your child (baby - 6th grade) for our annual Easter Party.  There will be an egg hunt for the little ones, a scavenger hunt for the older kids, plus activities! At the age of 19, Joel Sims became the lead pastor at Word of Life Church located in Jackson, MS. He spent the next few years learning how to pastor the church his father and mother founded.

Now, over 20 years later, Word of Life is a thriving church that currently consists of four physical campuses and a large online presence. Pastor Joel’s heart is to help people come to know the Lord for who He really is, so they experience the fullness of all that God has planned for them. Additionally, at Word of Life, a great emphasis is placed on funding missionaries throughout the world so they can fulfill what God has placed in their hearts.
